My friend, did you hear? The NFL is relocating and taking a team to London! I never thought I would see the day that a U.S. team goes abroad, wholesale nfl jerseys from china but here it is. It really puts into perspective just how much of a globalized world we live in now, and that sports can bring people together from all regions.
When I first heard about this I thought, “No way! That does not seem right!” To move a National Football League team to England. For a league that prides itself on keeping up traditional roots, I think it is a bold move to make such a big jump away from that.
Nevertheless, I can’t help but get excited about it all. I mean, think about it. One lucky team will be forever known for making history in transitioning an American favorite sport to its international market. Just imagine how many new fans it will draw, and it will be fantastic to watch the pre-game, half-time and post-game show from England’s stadiums.
Although I can see how this will bring in some of the greatest soccer fans that the world has to offer, I’m still a bit concerned. Mainly because NFL rules and game expectations are quite different than the U.K.’s soccer league.
It will be interesting to see how the team will be able to come up with ways to appeal to international fans, Cheap Jerseys free shipping while still playing their traditional U.S. game. I’m sure that it would be very hard to completely adapt to the differences in the football eyes of England and that could cost them.
Personally, I think it could be a great experience for both the team and potential new fans. It could open up a whole new stream of revenue for them, and who know? Maybe we’ll get to see preseason games in the London Arena one day.
I’m curious to know which NFL team is going to be the one moving overseas. It would be a big decision to make without knowing the culture and people of England before-hand. It would put a lot of trust on the organization that is chosen, and I hope that the decision is made carefully.
Having said that, I wonder how the game will translate. Football is a completely different sport from what the English are used to watching. It could be hard to adjust for the locals. On top of that, will the London fans be just as enthusiastic about the NFL as they are with soccer?
It’s going to be a huge challenge to make American football a success in a foreign land, but I sure am hoping that they can make it happen. I can just picture thousands of friends and family cheering for their game in a whole new arena!
