Wow, 2022 NFL rookies! It’s hard to believe that time has been flying by that fast. I’m curious to know which players will start off their career in the NFL and make a splash. Being a huge wholesale nfl jerseys fan for so many years now, I’m always looking forward to see who will become superstars.
Well, the first name that comes to mind is Trevor Lawrence. He’s a phenom and I’m sure everyone knows his name by now. He’s 6’5″, 225 lbs and an incredible quarterback. He’s the odds-on favorite to be the first overall pick next year because he’s the best overall talent in the class. There’s no doubt that he’s destined to have success in the NFL.
Second, I’m keeping a close eye on running back Najee Harris. He’s the most complete back in the class by far. Harris is a dream to watch when he’s on the field, and he’s broken multiple school records. He’s an outstanding runner who knows how to balance power and agility.
Devonta Smith is a force to be reckoned with. He’s a wide receiver who excels at creating separation on routes and has great hands. To top it off, he’s a great blocker which isn’t something that most receivers can boast about. If Smith lands in the right situation, I don’t see any reason why he won’t produce in 2022.
Kwity Paye is a defensive end who’s got upside written all over him. He’s got the size, speed, and hands to become a difference-maker as a pass rusher. I’m also very intrigued by his work ethic. The guy’s has been in the weight room for almost four years now and it shows during his games. No doubt that he’ll be starting for the team that selects him.
Ja’Marr Chase could be an absolute game-changer on the offensive side of the ball. His size, speed, and agility is a nightmare for defensive backs, most of whom he just runs by effortlessly. He makes some unbelievable catches and isn’t afraid to go up and get the ball in traffic. I’m certain that he won’t disappoint when he gets to the NFL.
The last rookie I’m watching is Micah Parsons. He puts in some extraordinary effort on the field and you can tell that he really loves the game of football. He’s a skyscraper of a linebacker, standing at 6’3″ and weighing in at 245 lbs. His speed and agility make him a great all-around defender, and you can be sure that he’ll be a starter in his first year.
James Hudson III is a unique player out there. He’s a physically imposing offensive lineman who towers over teammates in the huddles. He’s got some great bloodlines to boot; His Mom and Grandpa both played in the NFL. He’s got the ability and the dedication to become one of the elite offensive lineman in the league, and it’s only a matter of time before he makes his mark.
As far as 2022 rookies go, these are the ones I expect to see on the field. Lawrence, Harris, Smith, Paye, Chase, Parsons, and Hudson are names that football fans will be hearing from for years to come. Each of them are not only talented, but also are driven and have the mindset and Cheap Jerseys free shipping ambition to take their games to the next level.
I also can’t wait to see what some of the other players have in store. I feel like the guys I named weren’t even the full cream of the crop. Depth is something that doesn’t get talked about often, and there are plenty of under-the-radar players who could really surprise us.
When it comes to the offensive side of the ball, Trey Lance intrigues me the most. He’s got the size and arm strength you look for in a top-level quarterback, and he’s also an impressive runner. Despite not having a huge name in college, Lance could be one of those diamonds in the rough that could pan out in the NFL.
I’m also watching Caleb Farley at cornerback. He’s a big corner at 6’2″, 207 lbs and is great in coverage. He’s not afraid to tackle in the open field, either. His performance against Terrace Marshall Jr. in the Peach Bowl was especially impressive — the guy was completely shutout.
Then, there’s defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike. He’s a solid interior player who is a force against both the run and pass. He’s a very physical player, often outworking the offensive guard in the trenches. Onwuzurike’s strength and size make him tough to deal with and he still has a lot of room to grow.
And lastly, Zaven Collins is another defender that I’m keeping tabs on. He’s 6’4″ and 260 lbs and he owns the defense. He can rush the passer, stop the run, and drop back in coverage. He’s physical, tough, and very aware. His instincts are off the charts and he’s one of the few linebackers who can cover ground like a safety.
These seven players are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of 2022 rookies who could be starting in their first year. I’m sure there’s plenty of talented players that haven’t had their name called yet. It’s an exciting time in the NFL, and every football fan is ready to see just what these rookies have to bring to the field.
