did any nhl players play for the calona rockets

MAITUINS: MAY NYX WHITE FINISHING POWDERIt is quite incredible how the Corona Rockets managed to exist in the NHL league at all. The Corona Rockets were a short-lived team, playing a mere 15 games in the World Hockey League in the 1973-74 season. Although nobody has heard of them today, they did manage to make history by having the unique experience of playing in the NHL for a full season.

One of the more famous players of the Corona Rockets is Dave McCrory. He was the first Corona Rocket to be drafted by an NHL team – the Philadelphia Flyers. He also had a career-high of 11 goals and 32 points returned in the 1973-74 season, while playing for the Corona Rockets.

It is not surprising that most of the players who played for the Corona Rockets went on to be successful in their respective professional careers. In fact, several of them even had NHL careers. For example, Stan Gilbertson was a star Corona Rocket and went on to play 11 more seasons in the NHL. He had a career-high in goals scored of 20 and 34 points in the 1981-82 season.

Another player who had a successful nhl jerseys career is Paul Popiel. He played three games for the Corona Rockets and eleven seasons in the NHL. In his tenures with the NHL, Popiel had career-highs of 33 assists and 47 points in the 1984-85 season. Additionally, he also won two Stanley Cup championships with the Edmonton Oilers in 1984 and 1985.

John Kruk, who is now well-known for his charity work and his public health campaign against smoking, also played for the Corona Rockets. In that season, he scored nine goals and twenty-three points. He went on to have a great career in the NHL, as he was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1981 nhl jerseys Entry Draft.

For the remaining four sections of five paragraphs, I would talk about some of the games that the Corona Rockets played. I could discuss some of the more memorable matches including the 0-4 loss to the Chicago Stags, the 4-4 tie against the Baltimore Blades or the 6-7 loss against the Cleveland Crusaders. I could include anecdotes from some of the players on their experiences playing for the Corona Rockets. I could also talk about how even though the Corona Rockets were a short-lived team, they were still able to leave an impression on the NHL as scoring the first and only goal in a tied game which made them famous. Lastly, I could discuss how despite the short tenure that the Corona Rockets had in the NHL, they still put up a good fight and had a strong presence in hockey history as pioneers.
